LeMieux Shoc Air XC Front Boots

These new Shoc Air boots combine the best protection, the most beautiful design and the latest developments in the field of material and fabric development. The ventilated EVA technology provides a flexible force and airflow to the outside. The boot contains an impact-resistant, smart layer called Shock Impact Responsive between the tendon and the outside of the boots. This layer is composed of impact-resistant, shockproof material with molecules that remain flexible when there is no pressure on the boots. When pressure is applied to the boots, the molecules form a hard, protective shock-absorbing barrier.  The molecules do not return to the flexible state until the pressure is gone.

Rigid tendon guards are now replaced by vertical strips of Shock Impact Responsive material that remains flexible until pressure is applied to the boots.

The forward facing outer air vents and inner lining of 3D mesh optimizes breathability. Complimented by a soft stretch cotton inner lining to ensure comfort and prevent rubbing.

  • LeMieux boots are easily machine washable at a low temperature (preferably 30 degrees).
  • A washing tablet/capsule can be used.
  • Ensure all velcro is fastened together and clip straps are attached prior to washing.
  • Air dry near a heat source, never tumble dry.

Handbuch

Keep in mind that it is essential to put the boots on your horse's leg properly in order to get the most out of the boots. To ensure a secure fit, the boots must be tightened firmly.

When you use the boots for the first time, they may be a little flattened by the packaging. It is useful to form the boots a little before you put them on your horse. This makes them a little more flexible and makes them easier to put on your horse's leg.

When the boots are attached to your horse's leg, it is important to tighten the middle closure again. The middle closure contains elastic and when it is not tightened for a second time there will be a loose fit at the place where the leg is narrower so that the boots can turn.

Due to the structure of the boots and the Shock Impact Responsive material, it is quite difficult to overtight the boots, so make sure you securely fasten the boots with the Velcro.
